Can I send gold to others and what is the process and cost?

In most jurisdictions, you can easily, and free of charge, send gold to other Gilded customers via the Gilded App. You select the “Send” tab, choose the recipient, indicate the quantity of gold to be sent and confirm the transaction by pressing “Send”. Both the sender and recipient will receive a confirmation message via the Gilded App. In addition, the recipient will receive a Digital Warehouse Receipt documenting their ownership details and can see the transaction on the Gilded App under Transaction History. You may contact Customer Support at gilded.support@gildedco.com to learn if the send function is available where you live.

If you would like to send gold to someone who is not yet a customer, you can send that person an invite via email through the Gilded App.

From an operational standpoint, we note that there is no physical movement of gold when it is sent. The send is accomplished through electronic record-keeping, without movement of the gold from its storage area in the Brinks vault.
